Great. Remember how gas prices would skyrocket in the Philippines, and people would feel mollified because a ‘rollback’ caused the price to drop by 5%…Even if the increase was by 15%? Ack, Twilight Zone. It’s like a sad joke about some lizard brain convincing some dingdong that this works like a video game…”First-world level is for pansies–you gotta move up to third, dude!”

Amen. The sadder part of this is, Palin’s not even like most women. Not one woman/mother/person I respect or trust is that much like her. This reminds me of why Erap won the elections because people knew him more for his ‘everyman’ portrayals in movies than what he is as a person or politician. It’s weird seeing the same ‘para sa masa’ (for the masses) Svengali BS at work here in the US. It’s scary that they’re borrowing desperate third-world tactics, even scarier that it’s working better then even they expected.
